Wow, is it March already?
I’m excited to be heading back to campus this weekend for the March meeting of the Board of Trustees.
As always, we will be holding a Class Trustees Open Forum on Thursday. Open Forums are a great way for students to share ideas with, and to get to know the board. I encourage you to attend – even if you don’t have a particular agenda. If you can’t make the meeting, or would just like to get in touch, feel free to send me an email.
Browsing the events calendar today, I noticed another Trustee-related event: a lecture by Karen Florini titled “Climate Change Policy, Politics, and Personnel: A View From Washington.” Karen, a expert lawyer at the Environmental Defense Fund, is a Trustee and member of the class of 1979. Check it out if you have time.
Apologies for the lack of blog posts; I’ve been focusing first on getting myself up to speed on Board procedures and policies, in addition to some behind-the-scenes work. I’ll have much more to write about in the coming months – please check back. And as always, please get in touch with any concerns or ideas.
Finally, in case you missed it, take a look at Robert Lemle’s update from the December board meeting.
Hope to see you on Thursday!
